In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel for a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, the world’s oldest surviving no-dam irrigation system, dating back over 2,200 years. As you explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, your guide will share insights into its history, engineering marvels, and its enduring role in flood control and irrigation. After a delicious local lunch, we’ll proceed to Mount Qingcheng, one of the most sacred Taoist mountains in China, renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and lush greenery.
