Worst Breakfast

First of all we booked it for 3 people but when we arrived there, they informed me that it is for 2 people, and took extra 35€ for one person. Please never book the Hotel with Breakfast. The breakfast was very awful and even not fresh. Don’t get scammed with the pictures of dining and restaurant. In fact it was the worst breakfast I ever had. Plus hotel also does not have lift, so if you have heavy luggage then you are screwed you have to walk a lot of stairs. Hotel is almost 10kms outside of Zurich.

Apparently, the hotel was overbooked and on the day of stay, I received a message from the hotel through Expedia app asking me to cancel, eventhough the booking was non-refundable! I had a really hard time finding and booking another place to stay for the night. The hotel didn't even propose any alternative. Really poor communication. I came across the message by chance, could have easily missed it. I had to contact Expedia support, who were very responsive and helpful. Eventually, Expedia offered me a coupon and I booked another hotel myself.

Breakfast contains salami, cheese and eggs, the salami looks awful and just 1 cup of coffee included in it.

Worst experience

The hotel gave us the worst experience ever. We arrived at the hotel and they were not expecting us, and when we said we had a reservation. they just said to us they didn't have a room available. After a few minutes waiting they just sent us to another hotel 10 minutes away. We lost half a day of travel between staying at this hotel and moving to another one, because when we arrived at the other hotel, only the manager knew about our stay and he was not at the hotel, we had to wait.

Hotel is very expensive and do not offer breakfast include in that high price. Room was small and door has a problem with locker and difficult to lock it. You have to pull hardly. Personal was kindly. Parking is outside in front of hotel. In the morning there is nobody in office for checkout. WC was exactly very closely the windows so your position on the toilet is lateral, not normally. Shower cabin is very small. Bed was very unconfortable.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind words. Most of the hotels and accommodation units in Switzerland do not have an air condition/. Also in our description, you can not find mentioning of air-conditioning in the hotel .

Really great, love the great amenities and helpful staff, good clean rooms, I would definitely recommend and visit this hotel again if you want to visit Daellikon, don't hesitate to book this place, you wouldn't regret it
