Not very clean, clogged sink, they didn’t service our room, terrible pillows. Lady at reception was nice but said she’d get maintenance to fix the clogged sink and didn’t, so not very effective. Breakfast was good.

Room was hot at night, fan supplied was too noisy to run

Dear RussellIn principle, all our rooms have a cooling system. Unfortunately, the unusually high temperatures at this time of year put our facility to the test. Zurich is also subject to strict regulations on how far cooling is allowed. We can absolutely understand that this can sometimes not be considered sufficient for our guests. We are happy to assist on site with fans, coolant or a room change. We make every effort to ensure that our guests can have a pleasant stay even with these hot temperatures.

The hotel was nice, but we got there after 6:00pm and the check in process was terrible. After I spent 30 minutes filling out a form on the computer, it failed. There was a phone next to the laptop with a HELPLINE, so someone did pick up and help me, but it was a pain after travelling all day. Other guests were telling me "good luck with that". The room was clean and the breakfast was okay and free with the room charge.

Nice European hotel steps from local rail and within walking distance to Old Town area of Zurich. Don’t expect a large US type room. Rooms and bathrooms are small, and they serve a traditional European breakfast- no bacon and eggs here. For the money, it’s a good hotel. If you’re looking for a larger brand, you’ll pay considerably more. I’d stay here again
