Very friendly if limited service. The place is clean and appears well-run. The restaurant downstairs shares a name and building but seems to be independent. Regardless, it is nice and worth trying. Beware the church bells! For me they blended into the background by day 2 or 3 and became much less noticeable.

Very friendly
Super easy check-in. The key waited in an envelope with all information required.
The Hotel does not serve breakfast but gives voucher for an excellent bakery 100m down the street.
The restaurant were I had dinner is very good and personal very friendly.
Overall really good stay.

Nice self check in guest house. The heating was very low and was quite cold in the room. No phone in room to call to check it. Heating dial was adjusted and temperature didn't change.wpre a heavy sweater yo stay warm. Don't think I'll go back if they don't fix the heating solution for guests.

We do not have a telephone in all our rooms, but you can call our hotel number directly where we are available 24 hours a day.

I reserved the twin business room. In that picture they showed 4 different layouts however I ended up with the last picture layout that was on the third floor at the end of the hall. There was no elevator so I had to carry my suitcase and checked bag up all those flights. When booking this room I was hesitant because I was hoping to not get the room they gave me, but guess I got the short end of the stick. Overall, it was an ok stay. The bathroom was amazing and modern and the staff was very friendly and communicated efficiently!

Great choice

Beautifully updated and excellent service.
Supermarkets close by.

A very enjoyable stay
Posted 9 May 2019 on HotelsI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gasthof zum Hecht and will definitely return next time I am in Fehraltorf. Whilst there was no one at reception when I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from Mara on the phone and instructions on where to find the keys etc. The room was well appointed with a minibar, TV and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries you could wish for. I found the bed very comfortable and enjoyed a good nights sleep. In the morning I received another warm welcome from Mara whilst she made fresh cappuccino for me and showed me the breakfast room. Breakfast is simple, but adequate. All the usual bread and rolls etc. together with a selection of cheeses and cold cuts, muesli, yoghurts and fruit. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with friendly staff.
