Fantastic hotel
Posted 26 Aug 2019 on HotelsOur stay was fantastic, hotel staff brilliant, room was excellent apart from no air conditioning and no fan, that would be my only change here, with very hot nights we felt as though we couldn’t breath, I did ask for a fan but was told to open the window, with us being on the ground floor I wouldn’t open the window as they were fire escape windows ( so huge), so fans or air con would be only change , oh also having the option of a breakfast for earlier risers, we left for our next journey at 6am so didn’t have breakfast as it didn’t start till 7:30 so we missed out, maybe offering a few croissants or something that we could have eaten in the car would have been nice

Close to Bilbao and excellent
Posted 19 Mar 2019 on HotelsLovely small hotel convenient for overnight stop close to Bilbao. Comfortable clean room, ours with a kitchen corner in addition. Lovely spacious bathroom. Very welcoming reception. Modern restaurant with interesting menu, food well cooked and nicely presented. Very good value for money. Our host was attentive and very friendly. The hotel has a car park to the rear for which they charge, but there is street parking just outside too. The town is quite small but has a couple of bars, restaurants, bakeries and small supermarket. We would certainly recommend this hotel: can't think of any improvements they could make!

Excellent Hotel Nagusi
Posted 13 Jun 2018 on HotelsVery nice place to stay brought back childhood memories with the chiming bell every hour I think as I slept so well that I did not hear a thing until I woke at 06.30. I've stayed in one or two hotels in my life but this one had the most comfortable bed by far.

a Murgia gem, family run and worth a detour
Posted 8 May 2018 on HotelsAll is perfect for our 1 night stay whilst travelling from Madrid to Southern France. Great room, great size and bathroom was excellent too. Breakfast was basic but pleasant, good start to the day. Dinner was a bit hit and miss, probably suggest you go for a local dish rather than steaks as we couldn't recommend those.
Had a problem with our door not being able to be locked but that was fixed without hesitation, so pleased with that.
Check-in and out was quick and easy, parking inside gated areas was very much appreciated.
All in all we recommend this lovely stop over if you find yourself going to Murgia in northern Spain.

One night stay at hotel Nagusi on route to Bilbao
Posted 6 Dec 2013We had a very quiet and comfortable night. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed and warm room 24 hours. The breakfast, although sufficient, we personally would like to have had something hot such as bacon, eggs...etc. All in all, we would stay there again.

Fantastic hotel in a fabulous area

Pros: size of room, shower, breakfast, location.
Location: Really interesting place, near Bilbao but also in a national park.
We had an apartment which was brilliant value and meant we could prepare picnics and the odd meal. The staff were very welcoming and breakfast was very good. It was the best shower we we have ever had! The town is a great base, good shops and cafes etc. great walking and cycling country, the swimming pool which is 2 minutes from the hotel was a real bonus.
