The resort is on the small side and very tired. Some updates have been made, i.e. the lobby, but there are many areas in disrepair. The grounds were not kept well. They did hit the mark on service and overall we had a good experience- the staff was excellent, food was good and afterall it is Cancun! It is a good value for the price.

I felt very safe also the place was very clean and welcoming the room was clean and I love the night shows and best of all I had lost my bathsuit and at the lost and found desk I got it back. The staffs were always very helpful and treated us as family overall I would recommend GR Solaris to anyone wanting to visit Cancun 10/10.

Dinning options was really bad except the breakfast that was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buliding needs some upgrade, looks old. I recommend lodging at the Royal Solares or the new one which they are atill bulding that has more like Greece vibes. We wenr on a rour and we loved the building and tbe design, we were told it will be completed by Feb 2025.

There were spiders in various areas of our room including the sheets and towels received from the resort. Didn’t receive VIP benefits Excessive noise from music and pool activities going through the night. Excessive noise from construction Food quality and taste was awful. Leaving us to find food options out of the hotel for nearly every meal. No assistance from concierge or front desk for arrangement of rides, activities, or anything for that matter.

Construction every day starting at 7am even on Saturday and Sunday No dinner reservations available yet restaurants were empty Everything seemed more geared to members..just make it a members club Everything was available for EXTRA called to cancel Expedia agent was very helpful He tried but front desk manager was all of a sudden NOT available. Called back there next back NOT available very frustrating. Property was very run down very disappointing not worth the rating

I liked the food at the buffet. I felt safe and the room was remodeled and clean. Most staff were nice and helpful.
