Photos didn’t show old and non-renovated units, we found out that our unit is not renovated when we got there. We had to pay €100 to upgrade to a renovated unit that matched the pictures shown on Expedia.

A good choice for us
Posted 29 Aug 2024 on HotelsThis hotel has been perfect for our stay at Carpigiani Gelato U. Reasonable prices, clean, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast with a lot of variety including fresh fruit & vegetables. There is air conditioning but it is not very cool even on the high setting. We are from the US and I usually find the air conditioning in public spaces to be too cold. I think for me I prefer something in the middle of here and there!

Typical and welcoming hotel

This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Zirl on way to Innsbruck. Bus station was within eady walk and ran regularly but check return times as ours stopped at 18:30 😲. Also to note restaurant was not open Mondays and Tuesdays. Hotel staff were really friendly, breakfast was perfect for us. Very traditional which was what we were looking for. Would recommend.
