"Location of the hostel is very good. Walkable to the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. Overall room wasn’t that clean. The washroom had that typical smell and I saw a few stains on the bed sheets. There are only stairs but highest floor is only 5 or 6 I think. Overall it’s just a cheap acceptably clean place to stay near Zhangjiajie National Park."

Air Conditioning in Hotel isn't the best, it is just sufficient, but room remains warm. No restaurants other than hotel's own restaurants. Expect to pay slightly more for hotel food. "You will find that your Expedia reservation nonexistent. After hours stranded in lobby, the hotel offers our rooms at their will. Beware! many basic amenities in room will be charged."

"Lucas and his brother were awesome hosts helping us out with everything from airport pickup to suggesting tours and providing good and affordable food. The location of the hotel is at the less busy side of the avatar mountain park, which makes it idyllic. You can walk to the park entrance in 5 minutes. The rooms are simple but nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a wonderful time at No. 5 from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and modern whilst being right in nature. We were very well looked after by the staff especially Frankie who went above and beyond every day even helping us organise trips and buy tickets and driving us to the entrance of the national park. He was even on hand over Alipay chat to answer questions we had whilst on day trips. Frankie’s dog was also very sweet and warmly greeted us whenever she saw us :)...
