"The rooms were comfy (though without individually controlled heating they can get a tad stuffy…. You can open the window by an interesting mechanism that I had to confirm with the staff), and the bathrooms were very nice and spacious for a European ski lodge. Free breakfast was great. One decisive feature that made me choose this hotel was its partially outdoor heated pool. Hot tub après ski is one of my big likes, and their pool, although not heated to jacuzzi temperatures, is still plenty warm...

"Beautiful and charming hotel in the perfect Zermatt location. Nice view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Everything in town was walkable (though they sent a free shuttle to pick us up from the train station when we first arrived). We loved the pool and spa and they even made our dog feel at home. "Hotel Firefly was one of the most perfect hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in, truly! Upon arrival the front desk walked us around the property showing us the complimentary spa area which we used each day to warm up in the evenings.
