Great property with amazing staff. Indoor/outdoor pool is amazing, as was breakfast. Pretty far from the center of town—make sure you arrange the free transfer from the train station with the desk staff. Not as many dinner options within close distance.

But we are situated right next to the cable car station which offers you access to the moutains (hiking and skiing). This is a very good hotel.Immaculately clean, new, modern, bright. Very good spa facility. Staff are friendly and ready to help when required. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Reasons this hotel gets a vey good overall instead of excellent is lack of coat hooks in the room, no air circulation, only patio door opens, no other windows open, couldn’t sleep on bed, may have been too hot, may have been the bed, not sure! Slept on the sofa next to open patio door all night. The hotel staff did try to accommodate with different pillows and blankets but in this case the sofa seemed to be the better option.
Expedia advertise this particular room as air conditioned, the hotels own website does not, i can confirm the room is not air conditioned.

The Spa room had perfect view of the Mattherhorn. The bathroom was huge and the mattress was the best! Even the sofabed mattress was extremley comfortable. Enjoyed sitting out at the deck. The staff was very friendly and definitely like to come back.

Just outside of town but easily walkable without the noise and congestion of being in town. Hotel is over 125 years old, updated but kept the charm and motif
