Relax in one of Lake Tahoe’s most serene resorts, surrounded by nature. Explore the famous lake or venture out into the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Zephyr Cove is a playground of activities set amid bountiful nature. The four seasons bring with them different colors and opportunities. Visit during the summer to enjoy the lake to its fullest with swimming, sunbathing, boating and cruises. Return when the land has been blanketed in snow for skiing, snowmobiling and romantic log fires under starry night skies.

Appreciate the true beauty of Lake Tahoe by setting sail aboard a cruise boat from Zephyr Cove Marina. As you glide across the waters, admire the wonderful panorama of the tree-lined shore. Head off on a paddlewheel boat to the magnificent Emerald Bay State ParkOpens in a new window, guided by experienced crew who will share their knowledge of the region’s history and nature.

Closer to home, the Zephyr Cove Marina offers a wealth of waterside fun. Lounge on the 1-mile-long (1.6-kilometer) private beach or read a book under the shade of pine trees. Get your heart racing on a parasailing adventure or try waterskiing and wakeboarding.

Back on firm ground, the landscape around Zephyr Cove offers fascinating exploration. Hike scenic paths such as the beautiful Logan Shoals Vista Trail. Alternatively, go on a horseback riding adventure in the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountains with the Zephyr Cove Stables. Feel like a true cowboy or cowgirl and stop for a picnic in the heart of nature.

In the snowy winter, venture out into the cold and up to 9,000 feet (2,700 meters) above sea level as you explore miles of trails on a guided snowmobile adventure. Speed over white meadows and pass crisp alpine scenery.

The Reno/Lake Tahoe International Airport is just 40 miles (60 kilometers) from Zephyr Cove and is accessible by car and BLUE GO, an on-demand public transit system. Nice family getaway to Tahoe in the summer
"We enjoyed our 2nd stay at this hotel. The rooms are nicely renovated and the location is excellent. The hotel pool is not heated during the summer so it was a bit chilly for us. The gym is good, but one suggestion would be towels and a water station as it gets pretty warm. The live lobby music in ..."
