"I booked this property because of all the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. A small run family guest house. It only has 5 rooms. I stayed 3 nights and was the only guest. A little way out, but very walkable. So peaceful. No barking dogs at night. My breakfast was a huge spread and could have feed 4 people. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again. "The hotel has very historical feeling decoration. The room is clean and with nice castle view. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is nice. The only downside is that at night, our room on the 3rd floor was a bit cold. It would be no problem for warmer days. "

"My family and I booked three rooms at Furra and had a wonderful stay! The rooms were recently renovated and are very clean. The restaurant downstairs had excellent food and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Furra if you're visiting Gjirokaster! The street can get loud at night but if you're there to vacation and enjoy festivities, you'll be in the crowd anyway. "

"Restaurant und Bar waren geschlossen. Die Rezeption war nur notdürftig besetzt. Parkplatz war in einer neuen Tiefgarage, die noch nicht fertiggestellt war. Die Anfahrt war schwierig. "Property is very clean and modernized compared to many others in the area. Good breakfast offered and the lobby bar is actually very nice . The staff anre extremely welcome, friendly and professional. Although this hotel is a bit south of the main square/ corniche area it actually is very beneficial. The main area tends to be very crowded and hectic, this property allows you to actually have some peace and quiet while keeping you in walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. The beach is very close…just a 3 minute walk down the hill but be prepared to pay the fee to access the beach clubs(20 euro) and wear water shoes as it is very rocky. The only negative of the hotel is that the main entrance is actually below street level so if you’re being dropped off, you have to walk down several flights of steps with all your bags. The elevator only runs within the building and does not reach street level. It does go to the Parking lot which is below the building but can only be accessed by driving around the block(gps will lead to the main entrance at street level). Otherwise… we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend. "

Great hotel in amazing location.

"Great hotel in amazing location just next to the beach. Reception staff were incredibly helpful & everyone was very friendly & welcoming. Lovely breakfast buffet included for free. This had a wide range of food and plenty of choices. Sunloungers & beach towels also included for free which saved lots of money as these cost 10euros for 2 elsewhere. We booked a family suite which was perfect for the 4 of us as it gave our 2 teenagers a separate adjoining bedroom. Cleaners came daily with new towels & the place was spotless. Rooms had soundproofing which was great so never heard other guests. The bed had quite a hard mattress but that would be my only note and to be honest it was so much better than sleeping on a mattress that is too soft! Little supermarket and lots of beach restaurants a couple of minutes walk away but no noise problems. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely hope to come back and visit soon."
