Location was great. Only ones there. No hot water to take showers in either room after a long day of working. No breakfast

Thank you for your comment. In the months of July / August based on the heat index, even when the boiler is set at the lowest the water is excessively hot. In fact we had several complaints, the water was too hot and we even suffer losses because occupied rooms were fully refunded. It was an economic distress. For the last couple of years, we turn off the boiler and we got compliments instead of complaints.
We were recommended by a professional plumber that we either leave the boiler ON or OFF. It cannot be adjusted based on the need of every guest. I hope that you will understand our situation. About the breakfast, I think that the guest was not aware that the breakfast area is next to the reception area. Your comment is well heeded and thank you.

The property was clean and the help nice. I wanted to increase my length of stay after I had booked for two nights. The phone number listed was not working so booked elsewhere. The Internet was not working well but we were in a part of the country that had poor reception. I was disappointed in that it was to have a breakfast and when we arrived it was store bought muffins and coffee.

I agree we should do better with the breakfast but we need people like you to help us lobby for a Walmart and a HEB for Zapata. At the end of the day it is patriotic to support our business community because as a community we will grow and aspire.

Rooms fine, "breakfast" misleading
Posted 16 Apr 2019 on HotelsThe rooms themselves were fine, clean, comfortable enough. Wifi reception was weak, needs to place more routers to ensure coverage in all rooms. The breakfast however is horribly misleading. When a "continental breakfast" is advertised you expect at least a few basic breakfast foods like fruit, cereal, yogurt, bread, juice, etc. All they had was one pot of coffee and a few prepackaged honeybuns. That's not breakfast. I had to run down the street and buy breakfast foods for my whole group, wasting time and spending enough that I could have stayed at a better hotel with actual breakfast.
