I was here for one night before returning back to Dar. It was a very easy check in process. The staff were helpful with the luggage and assisting me to my room. The first thing I noticed was how clean the property was. The room was gorgeous. They had all necessary amenities and we had a very quiet and calm night which was very much needed. It was also in a very convenient location, which gave us a little more time to sleep before leaving the next morning.

Fairly new , the staff was excellent. The food was good, it’s a beautiful hotel and less than 8 minutes walk to the airport. Inside your room you can’t even hear the planes take off. ❤️

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Chose the hotel for proximity to airport since I had a 3am flight. (Walkable distance but not in the middle of the night) Their charge for the 3min drive was exorbitant, so I arranged on my own.

Outlets were not working when we came in the room the first time. Had to call maintenance to get them working. Coffee pot in the morning was not working either. Had to call the desk and get the instruction to find us switch all the wind back to turn on the outlet. Why not prepare the room for guest to arrive when it’s ready

I stayed in the hotel for one night before leaving Zanzibar, If you are looking for a 5 star hotel experience, with a spa, nice restaurant, safety, and quiet. Also a 5 min walk to the airport (or shuttle) This place is great! You can always take tours from here, and return to a nice cozy feeling of home. But if you're looking to wake up in stone town or the beach, this is not that place. That being said, the staff is 10/10, amenities are 10/10, the restaurant and breakfast are fantastic. This is a perfect place to stay if you have kids, or are somewhat skeptical of the island (you shouldn't be, it's safe). Or if you just want a luxury experience! Whenever I come to Zanzibar, I will always make it a point to stay here for my first night, or on my last night!
