Zanzibar Town hotel rooms a the Fairmont

"After climbing Kilimanjaro, we spent several nights on a round trip in Zanzibar in a group of five. On arrival, we were able to leave the rest of our luggage at the hotel so that we didn't have to lug it around all day. We spent the last two days at the Maru Maru Hotel, which was a very good decision. The hotel is located in the middle of the alleyways of Stonetown, is easily accessible and the perfect starting point for sightseeing tours. We were warmly welcomed and were able to use the rooftop bar and pool even on the day of our departure. Very good breakfast, lunch and dinner, we enjoyed it very much and would love to come back. "We were pleasantly suprised with our stay at seyyida! If you’re thinking of booking … don’t hesitate ! We had the most memorable stay! The location is just off the Main Street off the beach - a quick walk from the ferry terminal and the night market. Stone town can feel quite intimidating to navigate upon arrival- we loved and took comfort knowing as long as we could find the ocean we could find our hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They provided a map of stone town and assistance with things to do. The hotel is stunning. The pictures online will never do it justice! The courtyard and pool are works of art. Breakfast every morning was quick fresh and delicious. Please ensure you take the time to view the sunset on the rooftop patio-breathtaking ! The staff allowed us to store our luggage free of charge upon check out and use the pool until our time to leave. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you for a lovely safe and memorable stay! "

"We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "
