This will not be a repeat visit for me. It started with the front desk. Instead of a warm welcome we were greated with "passports?" The rooms were clean but dated. The free breakfast extremely lacking in variety and flavor. The paid food was decent but overpriced for the area. Hard mattresses. Some of the staff, the women, were great and friendly. We did one onsite excursion with a sunset Dhow cruise which was overcrowded and expensive. The cost of this place is definitely not worth it.

Beautiful hotel on the beach at the north end of Zanzibar. This beach was quieter than the west side of Nungwi. Less "beach boys" hassling you on the beach.

A pleasant if overpriced option
Posted 5 Apr 2024 on HotelsDeluxe room was more of a suite with separate kitchen area, bathroom & bedroom, Large balcony with both chairs and a twin hammock. Not plush by European standards but quite nice anyway. AC was great, wifi was good, food was good. A couple of silly rules, IE outside drinks will be confiscated but a nice stay.

Best place to stay when you’re in Zanzibar! Quiet, secluded and best views of the Indian Ocean!

Nice staff, beautiful location but food for breakfast is not up to the cattiness of the location. Also restaurants price is a bit higher if I compare to other surroundings restaurants and average prices internationally
