Conveniant hotel
Posted 8 Jan 2017 on HotelsHotel is mainly occupied by Italians and Germans. It is located on the beach which is nice but the sea water is full of sea weed and it is not really nice for swimming. There is a small pool which is ok. Bungalow rooms are nice, stylish... It is not advisable to go out of the hotel at night since it is located an a very poor village (as all of them are) and there is no road infrastructure, there is no night light outside hotel... There are no restaurants anywhere near (30km or more) so you have to take full board or at least half board. If you rent a car you will be in a position to visit different parts of the island. Be aware that beside main roads all other roads are dirt roads (macadam), so drive carefully.

Schönes kleines schnuckeliges Hotel.
Das Essen war super, das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Not the best experience ever
Posted 24 Jul 2021 on HotelsOverall bad experience since check in, we had to come back to reception 3 times before getting everything properly, such as wifi card, towels, safe key. At least they allowed us with an early check in. Do not book all inclusive formula since it's a cheat. Even tanzania beer such as serengeti or kilimanjaro are not included, they just serve another beer included. In the room you will find 2 little bottles of water (200ml each). Choose if you want to drink or have a coffee. I live in Tanzania and I don't have problem with teeth washing, but I can immane tourists how can manage the task. You can even not take to your room the water left on lunch or dinner, it's not allowed and they collect all bottles from the tables. I think they prepare coffee or tea with that.
All the waiters and cookers very friendly and always kind and welcoming.
The beach plot is very nice as well. Unfortunately many bad services lead us to leave without great memories of this place for our short holidays.

If you have some personal issue with the room, you only have to ask and clarify it with the guest relation manager.
About the meal plan booked for your stay, I want to remember that your All Inclusive formula includes the service at the glass. Bottle of water are served closed for guarantee the necessary safe guidelines and is not recycled.
In addition, in each room our guest can find 2 bottle of water that as a courtesy service is always appreciated, less than you.
The beer included in your All Inclusive services is local, being you in Zanzibar you should appreciate the local flavors.
Anyway is something was not appreciated, you can ask to our guest relation manager for finding a solution. Exposing an issue to itself when there is always a solution helps you to better enjoy your holiday stay.
We support and listen to all the requests of our guests. We really appreciate that our kindness and friendship, as well our food proposal has been appreciated.

Posted 8 Sep 2018 on HotelsHotel is van Italianen, zijn ook gericht op Italianen, alles in het Italiaans, elke dag pasta, daarnaast de all inclusive, wil je echte koffie dan moet je er €3 voor betalen. Aan het strand staan beachboy's bieden trips aan ( helft van de prijs van hotel) naast hotel een massage van een dame die op het strand werkt, super massage. Het is er heel veilig, kan rustig strandwandeling maken. Wel een prima service.

Très bonne restauration et personnel accueillant

It was great service. And the resort has a lot of potential. However the air conditioning was not functioning well and everything inside got humid both day and night. The beach needs to be cleaned more often. If you are going to book the snorkeling tour from the hotel make sure to ask them if they have only snorkelers or also divers. We had 2 divers with us witch requires more time and a different schedule than snorkeling so we ended up just waiting for them for a really long time. The snorkeling tour was not worth the money. The staff is really nice though and the actual place of the resort is beautiful

Amazing journey in Zanzibar, the expeditions are great and all the staff is really professional !
Little problem :
- The water in the shower was not warm all the time (cold if everybody take the shower in the same time)
- sometimes, the animations are loud but always sympatic
