"I loved my stay at Lake Safari Lodge. The rooms were very comfortable with a nice seating area outside with great views of the lake. Staying in one of the Island Treehouses was one of the single most incredible and unique experiences for this lifetime traveller. I'm so glad we ended up here on a whim. Lovely historic property.

"We were really looking forward to our stay here and the hotel delivered. Our room was gorgeous with a really gorgeous aesthetic that balanced Classic and modern design. Service was really nice and staff very friendly (especially Lauren at check in). We organised transfers through the hotel; and all of them turned up perfectly on time which really impressed me. My one criticism would be the Livingstone Room, it was marketed as a very high end restaurant, and the service was lovely indeed; but the food was quite mediocre and forgettable and many of the wines were unavailable. In addition, the vegetarian option was the same as what I ate the night before on the terrace which was disappointing. Nonetheless, the history and character of this hotel was exceptional and we had a truly lovely stay. "
