Zakynthos Hotels with Hot Tubs

"We paid for 2 studios/apartments but on arrival they would only allow us to have the 1. They also charged us €40 for having a friend around to the room on 2 occasions. One bed had a dip in it and our room wasn’t cleaned for the whole duration of our stay. There was no hot water in the shower and the fridge was also broken. We were only allowed 1 room key which meant we couldn’t use the air con unless we were in the room. We also got woken up twice at 8am every day by the owners.. disappointed to...

"We were delightfully surprised to discover this was one private villa for our exclusive use. Our hosts were extremely gracious in making themselves available to meet us with the keys and a thorough tour of the property, explaining all of the things that were available. The attention to detail and ultra-fine construction of the building, fixtures and furnishings, lighting, a/c, outdoor area with sound system ensured our stay was perfect. "So much stuff missing from the villa that was advertised that we couldn’t have a comfortable stay. No TVs in bedrooms as advertised (not an issue for most, I know. But one of our party has trouble sleeping so we booked specifically for this reason). No plugs in any of the baths, kitchen appliances and microwave didn’t work. Couldn’t cook a meal for our family as there were no utensils and only one pan. Wires hanging out of all the walls. WiFi didn’t work. The hot water only lasted long enough...
