"Very outdated rooms, and there was an extremely loud concert directly under the building until 11pm so was difficult to get proper rest. Rusty hairdryer and bathroom appliances, desk chair had stains. The "bed" was two small beds put together so was not comfortable to sleep. Not sure why this place has good reviews but maybe it was just my room...in addition the manager knocked on my door at 9:30 pm demanding 100 euros for the driver they arranged to take me to the hospital when I had an ear...

"In most aspects a very pleasant experience for our stay. It's a well maintained and comfortable hotel in a nice and quiet location. We very not planning to stay for more then a day, but with its comforts, great pool area and closeness to the beach we decided to add one night and it was hard not to book a third. "I can’t say this enough, the service at this hotel is top of the line. We had an issue with our room upon check in and the team at the hotel checked on us multiple times to ensure that everything was ok. They truly showed understanding and compassion throughout our stay. The amenities provided at Grand Park are the best I’ve seen in Croatia and would highly recommend. "I stayed 4 nights and did day trips to Poreč, Rovinj, and Pula. The village of Bale, where Hotel La Grisa is located, is worth exploring too. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. The bar and street cafe seating are very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay."

"Loved our stay at the hotel. Service was excellent. Clean, modern room. It is within walking distance to restaurants and the Old Town. Convenient parking. We had a GPS in the car to help find the hotel. Not easy to find street names. Check in and out is not at the hotel so make sure you are able to call Avora management at their number. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. 😊"
