"I had a great stay. The place is conveniently located next to the black lake, the durmitor ring and the little downtown. The place is pretty spacious and can accommodate 4 persons (tables well be a bit small then). I was traveling solo so I had so much space for myself. The best part of the place is the sun room facing durmitor giving an awesome mountain view. "The chalet was cute from afar. There was water damage in the downstairs bathroom that made the apartment smell like mildew. All the towels smelled of mildew. It was far away from action. Host was great. Just the place needed work."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! I booked an apartment in March for April after spending hours looking at potential options. We arrived at the apartment to be told it wasn’t ready and we’d have to go to a hotel in Zabljak instead! The apartment wasn’t ready because it was early in the season! The property is still being advertised as available now! We didn’t stay at the hotel because it was a small room with kitchenette that wasn’t suitable. We found another apartment nearby. The man at SOA Hotel...

"We didn't get the property that we ordered, due to pest problem, they noticed us 1.5 hour before check in. We had no other option since they didn't give us a cash refund although we paid in advance so the offered us a small apartment above thier house with a promise to partial refund that we didn't get so far, 1 month after."

"The space is stylish, contemporary, clean, comfortable, and easy to find. Could have used a little more storage space. There was no electricity when I arrived, and no running water at 5am the next morning when I needed to take a shower for an early departure. Host is responsive (but of course I didn't contact him at 5am!)"

The cabin was very nicely decorated and was very comfortable, Unfortunately it did appear that nobody had stayed in this one in a while as there was a lot of cobwebs and dead ants. If it was fully cleaned prior to our visit then I would give it a 10/10 as everything else was great."

"I love the location. Very peaceful and charming place. We visited off season so we were the only guest. The caretaker were very accomodating and friendly. Luxury mountain hotel that ticks all the boxes

"We booked this last minute as our original booking cancelled and it was the best thing that happened. This hotel was great, it was close to the heart of the town and as close as you can stay to the Black Lake - 35 min walk or 4 min drive to the car park. Staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded us to an exec suite, which was lovely! So much so, we decided to relax in the room for the afternoon instead of sightseeing. There was a separate bedroom, bathroom (nice products and shower gel, shampoos included). The living area had two sofas, kitchen and tv in living area and bedroom. So many facilities and amazing views from every window, including the bathroom! The balcony was also huge and had nice comfy chairs. The fact that check out is at 12, is also good as there is no rush. We managed to get in a walk around the black lake, back and showered all before check out! Restaurant was busy so would recommend booking to save you walking or driving into the town. Food was pricey (but can’t compare it to anything else) but was very good quality. We had lamb and chicken. The apple tart was delicious! Breakfast was the best we had out of everywhere we stayed in Montenegro. All fresh and tasty. They cook eggs to order and all the cakes were delicious. So much choice! Restaurant staff are very friendly too. We never used the steam room/sauna or booked a massage, but it’s good that it is offered. "

"A great hotel for exploring Durmitor, with friendly staff (especially Paul!) that were able to make recommendations about activities in the area. Ample free parking, which seems to be rare in Montenegro, and a great restaurant serving breakfast buffet and a wide range of menu options at lunch and dinner time. "
