"We loved this hotel! It was the perfect place to explore the snow monkey park and also experience the local Onsen towns, a must do in Japan. The room was super spacious and cosy, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, adding plenty of extra touches such as warm matcha on arrival and teas and juices for the road when we checked out pre-breakfast. "Everything was great except housekeeping. Instead of full-time staff, the interns were the ones cleaning the rooms. Socks was swept beneath the bed, personal pillows and clothes were left on the ground. Only the edge of the table was wiped. Replenishing of toilet mugs kept decreasing and even had some suspicious liquid in it on the last day of housekeeping. Onsen towels were not cleared and kept piling up. "

"Property is about 10 mins walk from the Bus station and Hotel does not provide shuttle to and fro, hence it is inconvenient to pull fhe luggage during winter time to the hotel. The back door of the hotel helps for quick access to the Yubate. Morning and Dinner buffet offer a very good spread but there is no need to book half board for more than 1 night as menus are largely the same. "

"Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom. The we enjoyed our private onsen. Very relaxing. Highly recommend. Some tips. Don't walk in the hotel with your shoes or sneakers. There are sandals that you can walk outside the streets with. It's located in the lockers with the keys when you entered the hotel. If you want to walk around the hotel you can walk with your socks or the staff can you give a sandals. Breakfast is a buffet. Limited selections, and you have to make a time slot rsvp. They bar closed around 10pm. We loved our one night stayed. We would come back again!"
