This was my first ryokan visit so take what I say with a grain of salt. First, the staff was very accommodating and nice. Their English was limited but they went out of their way to make sure we were welcome including coming to our room to show us how to set up our futon. Dinner was amazing with so many items. Here again, the staff took their time to show us the items. The room was also very nice and authentic - the floor was covered by tatami mats and we slept on futons which were very comfortable.

Breakfast & Dinner were awesome! But there is no bus to take from Yugawara station :)

we coudn't stay more then 1 day

Overall good and comfortable
Posted 10 Nov 2017Our whole family of 4 stayed there, we love the breakfast and dinner. The service is also very good... knowing that we are foreigners, the staff teached us how to eat the course, even though they don't speak English, we are impressed.
Overall a very relaxed and comfortable stay, if staff could speak a bit more English than basic English, it would be a lot better, especially the phone reception - I once called to confirm booking and was told noone speaks English.

設備多少古かったですが、部屋は広くて快適でした。
スタッフはみんな親切でフレンドリーです。
料理は大部屋でみんないっせいに食べるスタイルです。量は多めで美味しかったです。

部屋にトイレ洗面バスが無いのが不便でした
料理は大部屋でみんなで食べるスタイルでしたが
とても美味しかったです
その日は特別にいくらの食べ放題もついていてラッキーでした
本当に食事は最高でした
