Lovely hotel. Easy 15 minute walk from the train station. Easy 5-10 minute walk into the historic town center.

This 4* hotel is an absolute gem, right in the heart of Ypres. It has a surprisingly spacious car park with level access and spacious, marked bays. Even the smallest rooms in the hotel - the “cosy double” are actually quite roomy and superbly equipped. Most rooms have been renovated in the period 2020 to 2024. There are plenty of power sockets including usb ports and built in night lights. The bedrooms are air conditioned and the bathroom is excellent in every way. The large bar/restaurant offers a very wide selection from finger foods to bar snacks and full meals. The atmosphere in all of the hotel’s public rooms is welcoming and intimate. Many of the corridors and stairs reflect the wartime history of the area, with art and exhibits. Highly recommended when visiting this incredible city which was completely destroyed during WW1 and was rebuilt in its original style.
