This was the 2nd time we have contracted Katie & Phillip for accommodations.
As in the past, absolutely superb facilities and very pleasant hosts.
We plan on returning next November.

Fantastic location. A bit tricky with parking. Best to secure this well in advance. Host was lovely and very helpful.

The apartment was lovely in every way, everything we could need, also so close to the city centre. Philippe was so kind to collect us from the station and take us to the bank…. And then deliver us to the apartment. Thank you

Terrible check in, too much stuff
Posted 27 May 2023 on HotelsCheck in was not smooth at all. I was expected to reach out to the host. No welcome email from them.
I had to meet the host in person to get my key for the unit. Most properties these days have a lock box or passcode system. Would not be such a big deal however I had to work around the hosts schedule. I wanted to meet at 18:00. They told me I would need to meet between 16:00 and 17:00 so I had to interrupt the activity I was doing.
There was also no communication that the only way to pay was cash so I then had to walk with the host to the bank to get the right amount of cash.
Unit is nice and good location but there is too much stuff. I can appreciate a well equipped kitchen but I was almost knocking coffee cups out just trying to get a plate out. Cabinets over full.
Towels also smelt of cigarette smoke when wet. I realize many people smoke but for a non smoker this is not an enjoyable experience.

Bells is a small and cute apartment with patio on the ground floor. The photos on the booking site are very realistic. At the moment of booking the unit we send to the guest a confirmation and details of payment. Banktransfer or cash on arrival. He did not have cell phone so it was difficult to contact him. The afternoon of arrival he wrote on the booking website he would touring around Ypres a bit when he arrived there. I could welcome him when he arrived in Ypres so he could start his activity.I asked him to welcome him around 17:00 and this was okay for him. He was very pleased with the apartment when I showed him around.I went with the guest to the bank so he would not lose much time.I am not amused with his review.
