Friendly and accommodating
Posted 14 Jul 2024 on HotelsWe attended a near by wedding, the accommodation was perfect for what we needed, the owners were friendly, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, the surrounding area was lovely just a shame we didn’t have more time to explore.

Stay over to York
Posted 3 Dec 2023 on HotelsNice little village pub. Locals came in for drinks in the evening and it was very competitive prices.
Comfortable bed, tv in room. Shower wasnt the most powerful but it works and its warm.
Hosts are nice and the breakfast was yummy. (They have 2 cute little dogs that we saw on check-in ).
Was only 15 mins drive to york centre.
We stayed in the rooms above the pub not the outside rooms like we thought it was from the photos online but it was still nice. Wasnt much within walking distance so would need a car to hunt for food in the evening but there are a few places not too far drive.

Respite
Posted 21 Nov 2023 on HotelsWe went for a weekend. It was respite as we have a disabled daughter. Everything was just right. Sofa was a bit low, as we are 69 and 74 yeas in age so it was hard on the knees. But other than that it was warm and cosy and quiet. We enjoyed our rest. Thank you.
