The room is quite small. That’s about the only dislike

This hotel is located directly across from the Yokohama train station with quick access via elevator and underground hallways. There are multiple restaurant options, and we tried two - breakfast in the morning on the second floor and cocktails and snacks on the top floor with a piano player and a beautiful view of the city. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, quiet and cozy.

I didnt like how they didnt say i would have to pay to use the pool

I booked a city view we looked out onto a train station
We went to swim in the pool and it cost us 2,200.00 yen each and coolly use for 1 hour
There are extra hidden fees all over this hotel

I had wait for a long time to check-in, the first in the lobby area which if you sit at the chair you had to order something. I order a lemon soda and it's cost 1400 yen. Then I was took to 26th floor, Shelton Club check-in area, and told I can get some snack & drink. I was wondering why I couldn't be here, since I reserved The Shelton club room. The floor in the room has some uneven level under the carpet, and I almost tripped over a few times. I'm old and needed nice smooth floor. The place is not good as the onsen ryokan in Echigo Yuzawa, but it cost much high price. I stayed at Shelton a few times at other area, and this is the worst place. Staffs are not really good, maybe because it in Yokohama. I don't think I'll go back there, and find other hotel when I visit Yokohama in future.
