close to town

host was friendly & spoke some english .room was small but comfortable with court yard
tea & 2 rolls for breakfast .No hot water for shower

A real homestay experience --- LOVED this place!

Not only did they happily make up my room when I showed up groggy and before check-in time, but they also provided amazing conversation and surprised me with fresh Indonesian baked goods, and patiently helped me figure out the Java train and bus system. I don't think I ever would have made it to my next destination, a sleepy little fishing village, without their help.
The room was very nice. Mine didn't have A/C, but the fan was perfectly sufficient. You can't beat the price or location (it's right in the middle of the city, which made many of the attractions walking distance -- though taking a Grab or GoJek almost anywhere was less than a dollar). I loved this place, and would definitely stay there again.

Sencillo pero bien de precio. Cerca de Malioboro y estacion tren a aeropuerto. La huesped muy amable.
