I did not come with high expectations about Yellowknife. We were traveling to see the northern lights, and thought that Yellowknife would have nothing of interest. We were very wrong. It is an interesting place that we enjoyed thoroughly

Have visited relatives in Yellowknife several times without incident, but one has to be aware of the worsening situation with drugs and alcohol. Just keep your head up to avoid potential problems, just like you should in any city.

There are so many things to do in Yellowknife. We packed in as much as possible in a week but there's still a lot more that we would like to do. This is a place that I would visit again.

Yellowknife is great to visit. We enjoyed our stay just not the accommodations. The city makes an effort to look nice with little garbage, flowers everywhere and generally, friendly people.

"I really appreciated the room and section of the hotel I was placed in. It was super quiet, I LOVED the balcony view, and appreciated the washer/dryer in my suite. It was perfect! Now that I know about this little gem, I will be requesting this in the future."
