We had a good stay at the house with three kids. Beautiful grounds to explore and a cave tour or two is a must. Wildlife galore.

Quiet and peaceful.
A lot of cob webs which could be wiped away for frequently.

Nice and unique area walks too hard for less fit building needs a good clean unless the hundreds of spider webs are to trap the mossies.

Magical caves
Posted 8 Oct 2019 on HotelsWe had a lovely stay in the caves house. We were a little disappointed to find out that our private bathroom was next door and not an en-suite, but at least it was private. We had to take all of our own food, which we worked out, but the secure food cupboard didn’t keep the bush rat out so our bread was eaten on our first night. After that everything went into the fridge. The place was magical, clean and comfortable overall and the caves were exceptional but the thermal springs were hard to get to

Such a lovely experience. A beautifully restored property set in a valley surrounded by limestone caves and to top that off a thermal pool within walking distance. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the kitchen and common areas are spacious and well equipped. There is no internet reception which only adds to the tranquility and charm. The park rangers gave us a warm welcoming and were full of knowledge, especially Sharon who was our guide for the Jersey cave. Thank you
