Numerous issues with our stay: 1. Keys did not work, had to get different set, still had trouble with new set. 2 Our room had not been vacuumed before arrival. Lots of "debris" all over the floor. Bed skirt was askew, draping way over on the floor on one side, revealing the mattress on the other as well as an extreme amount of dust under bed. 3.Tub running (could not be shut off) steady stream of hot water. Very noisy all night and what a waste!! Hallways were dirty as well. Overall condition of the hotel was very poor. Not happy with the amount I paid for this room! Disappointed in Travelodge by Wyndham.

I showed up earlier than check in time. I told them I had been driving all night and had 3 little ones plus wife. They immediately check me in and gave us a room. I am forever grateful for the humanity. Because any where else they deflect moral humanity to company policy. These were real people who treated us more than fairly.... Thank you to the lady in the dinner and the cook.

It’s small and charged my card $50 twice and $11”.78 once I’m waiting to see if those fall off. Checkout receipt showed $160 room cost, paid hotels com $206. So you may hear from me Tuesday!

I would stay here.
Room was clean. Had a clean microwave and mini fridge that was nice and cold. Tv worked fine and had decent channels. Bed was nice. Very affordable and comfortable room. I would stay here again.

Don't let the dirt road fool you
After a long hard day of skiing and a long hard day of driving, I won't lie I felt disheartened when I turned off 131 and onto a dirt road. I checked in and quickly found myself in a room with a bed and a shower. Putting my bags down, I realized I may have wanted a fancy pool and bar, but I what needed a hot shower and hearty meal. This place provided them perfectly. Penny's Diner is a piece of Americana that brought me home, even 100's of miles away. This place is sensational for what it is. If you want to take a day or two at steamboat, and have no need for bougie and expensive hotel in the resort town, I can't recommend this enough. -a ski bum on a budget.

The property is very run down and you have to drive on a muddy dirt road to get to the entrance. I had to wait 20 minutes for a room to be cleaned at 5pm. Then staff knocked on my door every 5 minutes AN HOUR BEFORE CHECK OUT TIME. I had my alarm set to leave at 11am and then the cleaning lady tried entering my room at 10am, and wouldn’t stop knocking. I don’t recommend this Travelodge. I will not be staying here again
