For $12 in India it’s what you might expect.
Posted 22 Jan 2019 on HotelsGood:
Water Pressure
Hot water
We got a heater after asking a few times
Moderately clean for India
Bad:
Bed clothes were obviously used and never changed
Comforter smelled like moth balls
Bathroom is a bit misrepresented on hotels.com
When we asked about the poor bathroom, the manager lied about how much more the upgrade would cost

I stayed here a few times during my trip to rishikesh and it was great for the price. The room was clean & the bedding was comfortable. The restaurant was open whenever I needed to order food and room service was very fast. The hotel staff were decent but could've communicated better, despite that their service was pretty punctual and I would stay here again for sure. For someone with allergies this was a saving grace place to stay as it was well cleaned. The power goes out a few times a day but returns instantly here with their generator, unlike some other properties I have stayed at in the area. I traveled solo & accommodations were exactly what I needed, but room would also be good for a couple. Thank you green by one hotel!

Sink into a clean bed & sleep comfortably @ Green
Posted 17 Apr 2018 on HotelsGreen is a good, clean Indian style hotel. The price is right, the beds are super-comfy, the bathroom was clean (great shower with plenty of hot water) and the food is pretty good. It is conveniently located one block from the Ganges River in the Himalayan foothills in Swargashram, Rishikesh. I’ve stayed at the Green a couple of times because I am a stickler for cleanliness, and often sheets can smell mildewy in monsoon India. This is not the case at Green—you can sink into your clean bed and sleep very comfortably. It is not fancy, but has everything you need for a happy stay.
