"We absolutely loved our stay at Tambor del Llano! The inn, grounds, and farm are lovely and peaceful. We spent 2 nights and we wish we had booked at least 3 nights. We rode their wonderful horses, ate delicious meals, and truly enjoyed just spending time at the inn and and on the grounds. We could explore the fun and busy nearby white villages, but we were always so happy to return to our "home" at Tambor. "

stunning location, not luxury

"This place is hard to rate as it really depends on what you are looking for. Location is 10/10. We loved our stay here. Our goal was to be upon the mountains to do that and this place was perfect. we did several hikes directly from our front door. The views are spectacular, and you are well out of the hustle bustle of the city. There are not a lot of restraunts and you will need to get food and the small stores in ubrique. That being said this is more like glamping than a hotel. The facilities are dark with uncomfortable furniture (hard) and a minimalistic kitchen (we had plenty of spoons but no forks). There is no ac, we were there in the spring so this was not a problem and the rock walls kept things cool, not sure what it would be like in the summer heat. If you are looking for luxury, do not stay here. The place was very clean. No one speaks English so bring google translate on your cellular which will sort of work here. The wifi never worked for us even in the main building. we were told we could’t have breakfast so we made our own. "
