Such a sweet little hotel. Area was quiet and there are many places around the area to shop & eat!! Came for my birthday and had an amazing experience

Was very loud at night. Lot of noise

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Being in such a great location, right in the middle of downtown Newport, it can sometimes get noisy. There are white noise options on all of the clocks in the rooms in order to help with that.

The location is terrific. That’s why the prices are so high ($525 p night). For the price, I would expect a little more upkeep. The wallpaper was faded and torn, the furniture was scratched up. Pillows were flat. There is no front desk staff after 9 PM. There are a lot of other Inns and hotel rooms around there that are less expensive.

Thank you for your review. We value and appreciate guest feedback and we will be sure to pass your feedback on to the owner. Please note, our rates are comparable to other inns in the area. As an historic building, built in 1854 as a convent for the St. Mary's Church on Spring St., each room is uniquely decorated with antique furniture, of which may understandably have some normal depreciation. However, it is comfortable, sturdy and in great condition and fits with the historical period of the inn. What you referred to as wallpaper is actually a faux painting technique, of which each room in the inn has been been uniquely painted with a different design. Although there is not front desk staff available after 9 pm, (we are a small business) there is a phone number provided to all guests for emergent situations and anyone is welcome to contact us at any time as we continuously strive to provide the best experience for all of our guests.

This inn is a perfect location. The room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast and free parking were great perks!

This property would not be a place I would normally stay in, but the LOCATION and the PRICE were great. The Inn was super clean, the shower was super hot and had great pressure, and the breakfast in the morning was simple with bagels, English Muffins, fruit, yogurt, and cereal options. What more could you ask for free? They always say location is the most impt thing so this place it was LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!
