property need to be maintained: chipped granite floor, leaking faucet. Bathroom curtain can’t block fully (gaps on each side). But the hotel location is great, walking distance to lots of places.

Disappointing

The carpet in the room was not very clean to the point that I felt uncomfortable walking around with bare feet. The bed was very hard and didn't have a topper. Good location, but public transport in Nanjing is very good, so I would consider staying elsewhere in future. Breakfast was ok but there were only few Western choices. As Novotel is a French brand I hoped for a decent quality Croissant, but unfortunately they were small, stale and inedible

I have issues with this hotel, although our stay is comfortable. My card was charged for a ¥990 transaction which I have no idea what it was. It wasn't the deposit of ¥1200 which was refunded to my card. This transaction was actually billed! I went to their official website to email for a billing invoice but the email address listed: novotel@novotel-nanjing-central.com was an invalid email address that bounced back. I resorted to messaging them via Expedia but there was no response. I have no idea what I can do to refute or to clarify these billing, leaving me with no choice but to pay for them. Horrible experience with this hotel billing!

The hotel locates in CBD of Nanjing. The room size is comfortable for two guests. The room conditions are aged. The carpet is stained. The faucet leaks.

Like: super convenient location in Xinjiekou and room cleanness is quite good.
