Lovely hotel in the old town centre. Good rooms and nice complimentary breakfast included. Close to restaurants and bars, however, beware of the narrow streets if driving and parking is some distance from the hotel.

No parking difficult to access
Posted 9 Oct 2018 on HotelsThe hotel was situated on very narrow one way street and poorly signed. We had to park some considerable distance away. This hotel is not suitable for people driving or anyone with mobility problems. Reception opens at 4pm and our book in took over half hour because there was problems with the reservation couple infront. The room was spacious, clean but sparsely furnished. Wehad great difficulty when we returned to the hotel at 10pm. We were given a key at reception with a button attached and told to click. We tried various methods of getting into the hotel including shouting , banging and pressing the buzzer when my husband noticed numbers on the button, they were small a and difficult to read. We are used to entry systems and we tried them but nothing happened. We were thinking we would have to sleep in the car when we had 1 last go and the door clicked and out of frustration my husband shouldered the door and it flew open to our great relief. The problem with the hotel is lack of information there are 2 notices on reception with details of wifi, breakfast times but that is all. We speak some Spanish but the receptionist spoke no English, there are no town maps no info about parking no tourist leafets and usually when there is an entry system we are given the code on a slip of paper and the wifi details are included. The breakfast was good but because of the position of the hotel, lack of info and the problems finding parking we would not stay again.

Dear Marcus,
It is not true that the street is very narrow, it is a normal street. In the same street have free parking and payment and in the parallel street three free parking areas, down to the establishment by a staircase, if they had asked on arrival we would have indicated them.
At the time of booking it is indicated that the reception is from 16 to 21 h, you can enter from 12 to 14 h upon request. The problem with the reservation was that it did not appear in our system and we had to check it on the platform where they booked.
Respect to the entry key, it is a magnetic key that is passed through the keyboard, not by the video door entry camera, and opens the door, you do not have to type any code, as you say, and when you performed the check in They were shown, like everyone else, how the door opens after hours, if they had paid attention they would not have had the problem.
It is a lie that there are no maps of the city, if they had asked for one we would have given it to everyone who requested it.
Upon check-in they are informed of everything.
You do not need any code written down on paper because you do not have to type any number, the blue key has the code.

Posted 26 Sep 2018 on HotelsThis is an excellent place to stay. The owner was very friendly and due to my husban’s disability, gave us an accessible room on the ground floor. It was very spacious, well decorated and full of character with a huge bathroom. Great breakfast choice as well.
Well situated for the old town. We managed to park in a small car park just along the road which was very convenient.

Posted 12 Aug 2018 on HotelsWe really enjoyed our stay here as the staff were very friendly and the building was restored wonderfully yet functional also. The old town is lovely. We also had our dog with us and it was very suitable.

Winding roads to a comfortable stay.
Posted 7 Feb 2018 on HotelsWe were happy with the place once we found it. Xativa’s streets wind around quite a bit. The room was nice with a private bath and the breakfast was included. It was a typical Spanish breakfast with enough variety to make everyone happy. It was cold in the lobby and rooms but has generous comforters enough to be cozy. We slept well. There were a few cafes nearby eithin walking distance.

Super cheap, super town, super hotel
Posted 5 Dec 2017 on HotelsThe place was so much better than I thought. The outside is unassuming but once inside the architecture is amazing and the room far better than this hostel suggested. I found a parking space really close and the guy at reception was super friendly. The room was stylish, comfortable but super cheap. I was the only person for breakfast the next morning and there was plenty of fresh bread and pastry as well as cereal, yogurt etc. Super cheap, super town, super hotel
