Had an enjoyable stay. AC stopped working 4 days before departure and host claimed she was unable to get it fixed, so that was incredibly uncomfortable in temperatures of about 35°, but other than that was ok. Pool could have been cleaner as it was turning greem towards the end of the stay.

Lovely farmhouse - Great pool and amazing view.
Posted 7 Nov 2017 on HotelsThe accommodation, the area and the view are all amazing. We were greeted with a friendly welcome from Monica who was a lovely and informative host. The accommodation was 2 bedroomed, 2 en-suite bathrooms and an extra, separate toilet room. The living area was spacious enough with an ample sized kitchen and dining table, lounge area and various TV channels and good strength wifi. The pool and terrace were great and had enough room, sunbeds and table/chairs for the family of 4. The pool was a perfect size for 2ads and 2chi and had an amazing view over the valley and looking towards Rabat/Victoria and the impressive Cittadella.
The walk into the village square for the restaurants/church and bars takes 10 mins or a 2 min drive with ample/free parking in side streets and has some nice views towards other villages along the way.
Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend Bellavista. Will be staying here again for sure.

Lovely place for a family holiday
Posted 7 Aug 2017
Pros: Size, cleanliness, pool
Location: Close to the town center, local buses very good, on one of Gozo's high spots with a wonderful view of Victoria and all the local firework displays.
We had a lovely time here, we arrived well after reception had closed, and despite it being after midnight the keys were waiting for us. The breakfast pack was very welcome the next day, although there were 5 of us, including 3 hungry teenagers, it lasted for breakfast and lunch, just as well as most shops in Gozo are shut on Sundays.
The farmhouse was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Despite it being high summer we were able to do without the AC due to the high ceilings and ceiling fans, although we did relent on the last day to get ready for the UK temperature! Pool was great, a decent size and depth, it was checked and cleaned 3 times in the 7 days we were there.
The reception team were very welcoming and helpful, they weren't at all worried we didn't check in with them on the first full day.
The farmhouses are a short 5 min walk from the local bus stop and the local buses are brilliant if you don't want a hire car. The town center, with it's shops and restaurants, is a 10-15 min walk, some of the shops will deliver your order to the farmhouse.
We hope to come back, although not in the summer, when out and about the heat got to us, roll on a March/April holiday, apparently this is the best time to visit Gozo.

Pros: Quiet, not overlooked,traditional,prvate pool
Gozo is a delight...so picturesque and traditional...we loved the farmhouse we stayed in...very quaint with wonderful views of the whole island. The private pool was a bonus too.The staff were so friendly and helpful...this is a family-run business, so the personal touch was very nice. This is a great place to stay for a quiet getaway in a beautiful area.We will be back!

Its a great place to stay - in a nice village, fairly central on Gozo and with fantastic views straight over to the Citadel in Rabat/Victoria. With the pool and the terrace it was hard to tear ourselves away. the only issue was lack of kitchen equipment (one tiny sharp knife) but otherwise it was perfect - we loved it.

Gracias

Dear Jordi,
We're sorry to read that your experience has been so negative especially since our service and hospitality has always been great, as highlighted in our reviews.
We are sorry that you didn't have water during one of your days. Whilst we apologize for the inconvenience, the issue was immediatley resolved by our technician.
Regarding the bites, you are not right to say that these are bed bugs, as all our mattresses are brand new. September and October in Malta and Gozo are the worst months for mosquitos, due to the high humidity (as summer starts to transition into winter). We are an island, surrounded by water and this makes humidity even worse. I assure you, there are no bed bugs.
Best wishes,
Maria

Amazing view and everything was neat and clean. Kind personel. So yes, you need to visit this place! Don't expect the latest kitchen equipment.. The pots and pans look like they come from a 70-ies camping, but they work. No coffee machine and no parasol available. Trying to get one at the reception didnt work, as nobody was there. Nevertheless, we had an amazing time at Bellavista Gozo.
