We stayed at the HI Express in Worthington, on our way home from the Mayo Clinic. HI Express, in my opinion, is always very consistent in their cleanliness, comfort and hospitality. Our room was clean & comfortable, & the staff was friendly. The breakfast is convenient for a quick bite to eat before you hit the road. We would definitely stay there again on our way to and from Mayo.

The staff (Collette) was great at welcoming us and getting us checked in! Room was decent but nothing special. No fan in the bathroom so it gets dripping wet from the steam. Ice machine was on the 3rd floor (we were on the 2nd floor). Pool area in enclosed and the air temp was like a sauna while the water was very cold. Family still very much enjoyed the pool and we were thankful it was open until 10pm. Breakfast was decent, no bacon, had to request items to be replenished, and very crowded. Great coffee / hot tea bar options.

I recently stayed at this hotel during a long trip and wanted to share my thoughts.
**Cleanliness: 5/5**
The room was impeccably clean, which is always a top priority for me. It felt fresh and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay.
**Staff: 5/5**
The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.
**Parking: 5/5**
Parking was convenient, with plenty of available spaces, making it easy to come and go.
**Wi-Fi: 5/5**
The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, allowing us to stay connected without issues.
**Amenities: 5/5**
The TV was great, and the fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and controlled air conditioner added to the comfort and convenience of the room.
**Pet Policy: 3/5**
While pet-friendly, I was restricted to using the side entrance with my dog, which felt less hospitable.
**Water Access: 3/5**
Water access was limited to a gym dispenser, which was inconvenient. A lobby fountain would help.
**Flag Poles: 2/5**
The location of the flag poles was nicely made—very pretty and honorable. However, they were bare, missing both our national and state colors, which felt lazy, especially on a perfect day.
**Conclusion:**
Overall, the hotel offered a clean and comfortable stay with friendly staff and excellent amenities. The pet access restrictions, limited water sources, and bare flag poles were minor drawbacks. I would consider staying here again.

Well maitained. Great beds. Friendly & helpful staff. Next door to an excellent bar & grille.

Nice to have a laundry on site. Walking distance to a very nice restaurant. Bathroom shower was a bit dated and water flow was only fair fro the shower head.
