DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL
The photos and descriptions are not accurate- the property is rundown, damp, is not secure and judging by the locked fire doors is operating illegally.
You are required to leave the hotel by 9am or face a fine of £10
The reception area is full of junk, the front door is kept locked and is accessed by ringing a mobile number or waiting for a shabbily dressed man to arrive. There are only a small number of rooms actually used - one of the rooms offered to us did not have functioning lights.
The property has issues with damp - there was a damp spot in the ceiling in one of our rooms and further evidence of damp in the corridor.
The facilities are basic - you get a small bar of soap and 1 toilet roll in the bathroom, there is a kettle only . no cups or tea/coffee/milk.
On inspecting one of the beds there was a beetle under the cover and there were stains (looked like blood) on the sheets and mattress topper.
We did not feel safe at this property- we were the only guests at the hotel - the car park was deserted and run down, the reception is not manned, the fire escape was locked, the window hardware was broken, the doors were locked with a Yale lock from outside there were bedsheets rolled up in corridor at 7:30pm there was vacuum cleaner and other items against wall where the damp damage was possibly placed there to cover it up, there were people’s belongings on window cills along corridor.
We left after 10 minutes!

sorry your camping trip was disrupted by bad weather
you booked a double bed to be sheared by you two grown darters when for a little more you could have booked a twin room. You asked for cups which i promptly supplied so if you needed more toilet roles then you could have asked and i would have gladly given you as much as you needed
we are a quite hotel on the edge of the beautiful village Blyth with its numerous restaurants and bars and a well stocked village shop on the A1M
rooms are cleaned and linen change with fresh supplied to us by the same laundry that supplies the holiday inn hotels. Some rooms were being cleaned At end of cleaning the corridor is cleared.but You say you left in 10 minutes without informing me.
all fire exits are clearly marked and open by single action
we only use 15 rooms the wings not being used are locked and secured and there is no need for you to enter
The room with the light bulbs not working replaced next morning and you were upgraded to a larger room free of charge Check in and check out times are clear on booking should you require late checkout you must make prior arrangement with the hotel a costs £10 per hour. our prices are a small fraction of other hotels with free parking MANY GUESTS use us time and time again The night you booked 4 other rooms booked and these guests were satisfied on had left to attend a wedding others had left for meals and drinks
next time Mrs Robbins you may like to book at a fellow hotel just 2 miles from us they are busy so book in advance and do expect to pay £150 to £200 per room per night
WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST

Not great, place looks abandoned and is dirty, reminded me of the movie The Shining, and there's a daily curfew! Really bad.

Very unhappy. Check in was complicated. There is a daily curfew. Place is dirty. It's almost like a horror movie. Avoid at all costs.

First of all we had to deal with a person by the name of John who didnt even want to listen to us, saying that he can only assist us around 17H00 until 20H00 and he said we can go and do refund, knowing that your policy doesn't allow to give back a refund. We didn't stay or spent a night there we had to go and book somewhere else. I'll never even recommend someone to go there. The place outside is not impressive not the same as advertised. I'll rather sleep in my park at any parking bay than sleeping in that place. As we speak my money is gone for something that I didn't enjoy, I don't know why Expedia is associating with such places I trusted you guys but now I think I must rethink about you guys as well.
