"We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cottage. The home was quaint, romantic, and had a great view. The restaurant was great (we ate breakfast there). Close walk to town. Everything was perfect! "

"We chose the Champagne Apartment and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need and well considered amenities. Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful."

"Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour."

"This was a perfect affordable spot for our stay in Franschhoek. It’s a small room, but very cute and thoughtfully planned with everything you need. Just a couple blocks to the Main Street with restaurants and from the wine tram. Would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Old beatiful hotel in urgent need of a rescue. Hotel tried to down grade the 2nd room i paid for. From a Delux Double room to a Studio.Lucky i saw the attempt when booking in? Disapointing a Hotel would do this and when the client sees it,blames the computer. Great value

"We booked last minute and as the price was lower than other options was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious loft apartment with a great bed and lovely bathroom. As we were there only 1 night didn't use the well appointed kitchen. Sofa was comfortable and it was close to the center of town. Great bakery next door as well as the supermarket across the street. I would definitely stay there again."

A great new find.

"Our first time at La Fontaine and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded expectation. The staff were excellent. Very attentive and interested in all their guests. The breakfasts offered a great choice and were very good. The. Bedroom was very comfortable, albeit an extractor fan in the bathroom would be a good addition. The communal areas were welcoming and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay there again."
