Posted 12 Sep 2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Plenty to see and do in surrounding area.
Amazing B&B, great hosts and the rooms were remarkable. Quiet setting in a beautiful part of the country which we plan to visit again and will only plan out trip around the availability of this lovely Guest house.

great place to stay
Posted 28 Feb 2016 on HotelsFabulous place with fantastic views and lots of history.
Lisa & Keith made me feel very welcome and Lisa even ironed a couple of shirts for me when I asked to borrow the iron! (That’s a first)!!!
The house is spotless and finished to a really high standard.
I was really impressed with the Morgan car which is available as part of a package deal but I was unfortunately there on business. Maybe I’ll book a trip for pleasure in the future!!
This place absolutely deserves its high rating and if I'm in the area again - I'd definitely book again.

Quaint Hotel with Character and Lovely Staff
Posted 17 Dec 2015My wife and I stayed here overnight in December 2015. We were there for only one night whilst visiting friends but certainly plan to go back for a longer stay.
The hotel is set in a beautiful setting with a lovely garden complete with small stream and a lovely pond and large lawn. The hotel building itself has a lot of character and is a beautiful historic building with some original features but the rooms are decorated in period style and are more than comfortable. There are nice areas to relax and read in a comfy chair or warm up in the hot tub.
The area surrounding the hotel has some interesting sites with the Shelsey Hill Racecourse, The Old Water Mill and a very interesting old church.
The staff are incredibly friendly and bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and serve the most amazing breakfast.
A great place to stay and be treated like Royalty :)

A home from home-superb!!
Posted 30 Sep 2015
Pros: Everything!!
Cons: Nothing!!
Location: Beautiful countryside .
We could not visualise what we were in for! After many holidays in England and abroad, as good as they may have been, there was no contest! Apart from a beautiful hotel, the relaxed atmosphere, superb food and the perfect hosts, we were overwhelmed by the personal touches, the humour and the genuine service that we received.
So there is nowhere else to go that could match it. We'll not be going anywhere else!

A little slice of heaven
Posted 5 Sep 2015 on HotelsFrom the outset Lisa and Keith were exquisite hosts, so very charming, welcoming us as though we were friends visiting them, we could not fault their service in any way. The boutique hotel is all that you could wish for, large stylish bedroom and bathroom, immaculate cleanliness throughout the hotel, beautiful quiet location and grounds, superb Breakfast. Everything was top notch, just a pity we were only staying for 1 night on our way to the Cotswolds. Lisa insisted we take some of her Brownies for the journey, and to be honest they were the best we have ever tasted!!

A Great Find
Posted 3 Sep 2015
Pros: There is nothing not to like here
Location: The hotel is beside the Shelsley Walsh hill climb track.
What a great place to find!! Keith and Lisa were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are all newly decorated and furnished to the highest standards and contain everything that you could need. The hot tub is an experience worth having!!!! Breakfast is taken with other guests at one large table and is everything you could ever wish for. Keith is a former chief and clearly knows how to prepare the perfect cooked breakfast.
The location is unique being right next to the Shelsley Walsh hill climb track. It is well worth a morning walk up the track for the experience, the view form the top of the hill and to work up an appetite for breakfast.
We travel around the country a fair bit and have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s but this has now taken our number 1 spot and will look forward to our next stay when in the area.
