It was a wonderful stay. Bed was so comfortable.
I was disappointed with not enough milk for coffee. And the tv channels were pretty poor. The signal was even abit blurry so tv quality I would say was bad and channel selection. But those would be my only two complaints.

Won't see me again
Posted 31 Oct 2021 on HotelsSlow service and bad attitude with check in, vulgar smell in the non-smoking room, towels dirty and room not even serviced and coffee refilled for my 2nd night stay. I won't stay there again. If you don't have transport, there are only a terrible bar where you can eat and food was a disgrace.

Clean but customer care can be improved
Posted 10 Sep 2021 on HotelsGolden Valley Lodge is situated next to a Casino and just across the highway to an important and pleasant shopping mall (but it requires a 3 km drive to get there as there is no direct access).
The hotel premises are clean and well maintained and so are the rooms. Cleanliness was good but the water sytem in the room requires revamping. The antique two separate faucets for water makes the washbasin an uncomfortable eperience. I thought all hotels had replaced this archaic system with the modern faucet that combines water in one tap. To make things worse, the water pressure was poor and uneven so showering was also not a great experience.
Breakfast was average - but this could be linked to Covid precautions - but the service by the waitress was so kind it made up for the minor failures.
Reception needs to be improved. The receptionist teams needs to be trained to offer smiles and hellos to newcomers even during Covid. It's already stressful to wear a mask and get oneself temperature monitored so it helps when one feels welcome.
