"The cottage was dirty, the kitchen smelt of grease and all the pots where dirty. It smelt very fusty like it had been left unused for a long time. Beds where very uncomfortable, my wife described it as the worst nights sleep she has ever had. None of my kids could sleep either. Left after the first night and had to spend more money to stay somewhere. When I mentioned all this to the host they completely ignored me and stopped responding to my messages."

"Lovely, quiet property, right in the heart of Bristol. The flat is beautiful, with lots of places to sit and chill. Complimentary soaps, coffee and tea, and they had even chilled a decanter in the fridge for me to put water in. Lovely attention to detail! I booked this last minute, so it was really too big for just one person, but I would imagine a group of friends or a family would have lots of fun here. "This is our second year staying at Bristol Redcliffe; it is in ideal base for travelling around Bristol and into Bath--great bus, coach, and train services--and there's good coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, and markets close by. "I booked a room with shared bathroom and it turned out there was a mistake that the room was already booked. I got upgraded to a room with en-suite for free which was great. The room was very clean and nice. But the only strange thing is that I had to throw away the rubbish myself."

"The staff were phenomenal, Rachel, I believe her name was, was so welcoming the night we got there, so chatty and friendly, she made it seem like a home away from home, especially since we were so far away from home. The room was beautiful and so clean, I could’ve just lived in there forever, and the breakfast staff the morning after were so unbelievably kind, made sure we were well attended to, we definitely will be back next time we’re down there. I must say, the car park was slightly hard to find 😂 but that could have just been me, apart from that it was everything we could have asked for and more"

"Booked this last minute for our wedding anniversary, I added a message on booking to say as such. When checking in we got a free room upgrade and a two complimentary drinks. Room and bed were large, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Had robes and slippers(needed as bathroom tiles were cold!) "

"This hotel has been refurbished so feels chic & shiny new. Comfort levels are high. Good decor & room facilities. Staff pleasant & helpful. Car park close by but v expensive (left car at less expensive one overnight). The location was ideal for my sons graduation at the Abbey"
