Staff was extremely nice. We were upgraded to Room 318 with an amazing view of the Harbor Bridge and Opera House. Hotel is basic accommodation, no lift. The pub on the ground floor is very friendly with a local flavor. Near Kings Cross station.

Bad accom good bar
Posted 4 Apr 2019 on HotelsOld rooms, musty smell, iif its a warm night get ready for alot of oitside noise if open windows.
Stale cereals, moldy bread but the milk for cuppa was inside its expiry date. Never again

Hi Jason,
We're disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay. Unfortunately Kings Cross is a busy area so we can't control outdoor noise in the area however we do provide a fan in every room and we're happy to provide extra ones if they're requested.
I can only apologise regarding the breakfast, this must have been an oversight by our housekeeper. If you'd have spoken to management as soon as you discovered it, we'd have been more than happy to immediately replace it.

Nonoffice to check into, Had to check in at the bar. Was a bit early, and When asked to store my luggage, it was stuck just behind the bar. Was only staying one night as a last minute booking. Would not have stayed another night. Ok for the price. Located in an area with a lot going on, which was nice Bc the place isn’t inviting.

I'm sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with your stay. We process all our check-ins at the bar which is permanently manned throughout the day which ensures that the luggage you stored with us is always safe.

This Hotel have no internet facilities. Breakfast is very poor quality. Staying four nights but didn't see any reception office open day and night and all times close. I will not recommend to anyone for stay this Hotel.

Hi MD,
We do ensure that on the booking page, wifi/internet is not listed under the available facilities to ensure guests aren't disappointed upon arrival.
I don't know if it was mentioned when you checked in but it should have been, that if nobody is in reception, there are people in the bar from 8.30am each morning until 3.30/4am when the bar closes who are more than happy to help if you have any issues or queries.
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but if you'd have let us know you were unhappy, we would have done our best to try and rectify the situation.

Posted 24 Feb 2019 on HotelsFriendly staff,easy to find,good locale but no internet which should be a basic requirement,motorway outside,bar closes at 3:30am in the morning so very noisy & Sydney can be hot no a/c only a free standing fan.not trying to be overly critical it’s a budget hotel but a ceiling fan would be an improvement,deep cean the carpets etc free b’fast better to go to one of the cheap(but good cafes around the area)you pays your money & you gets your choice,with a bit of care this good go from a 3 to a 5 very easily

We're glad to see you enjoyed your stay with us.
Understandable that it's frustrating not having wifi but it's something we are looking into for the future, in the meantime we don't advertise that service in the hope to not disappoint guests upon arrival.
Same with the air-conditioning, we make sure it's not a feature the booking site says we offer so as not to mislead anyone. We are more than happy to provide extra fans for the rooms if guests ask though!
We would be more than happy to welcome you back on your next visit to Sydney should you choose to pick us :)

Would stay again
Posted 3 Jan 2019 on HotelsThis is a well priced, clean, not too fancy place to stay in the central part of Sydney. Everything is basic, but comfortable and pleasant. I also recommend the Malabar Indian near by :-)
