"I had not realized how beautifully located The Gresham is to old town Leicester. The Gresham could use some refurbishing (hall carpets as an example) however, the ambiance was perfect for me. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast each day was delicious with reasonable selections. My room was quite cozy and comfortable. I have other trips planned from the US to Leicester and I will always book The Gresham for my stay. Overall, it was perfect for my needs. "

"Stayed 3 days, would definitely stay again. The staff were friendly and professional. There is everything for a home from home stay. Beautiful interior designed room with fully equipped kitchenette including microwave and dishwasher. All the essentials,TV hair dryer, iron and ironing board, super comfy bed, Wi-Fi, grab and go croissants for breakfast in reception. 5* accommodation without the 5* price tag."

"This was our 1st time booking an apartment and overall it was a good experience. The apartment is very secure with keypads on both the front door and the apartment door. The apartment itself is very spacious and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need, good fridge freezer, good oven and hob, dish washer and the counter electricals like kettle and toaster.Bathroom with bath and shower is very nice and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed and lots of storage. I would rate it good...

Being from rural area it was difficult understanding security but destails were very good, just our lack of ability. I did get locked in bathroom at 3 a.m. as when I tried to get out as the lock fell out of the door handle. "Lovely hotel and service as usual for our fourth stay. Just a warning the reception area is being refurbed and breakfast finishes early on Saturday and Sundays… not the usual 11am. A letter told us in our envelope with keys which we thought was the receipt, so didn’t look at it! Us and lots of others were a bit rushed! Not a problem though."

Lovely hotel

"Stayed for 2 night's in your hotel. Very helpful receptionist (Gemma) who helped with an extra lamp for the as it was a little dark. Also a fan due to my husbad been very warm. Nothing was to much trouble and all with a smile. The room was very clean and plenty of clean towels and toiletries. Tea/coffee making equipment was lovely. Small fridge with x2 bottles of water. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety to suit all. Definitely recommend this hotel. "

Great Stay

"Lovely hotel, rooms are very spacious and you definitely get your monies worth. Check-in was easy and were very helpful with the parking situation, which is right next door. Bar was open late so we could have a quick drink before going back up to the room. Would definitely stay again when in Nottingham. Close to the centre and right next to the castle."
