Very friendly staff, good clean rooms. But the one person allocated to reception for our wedding party was overwhelmed, through no fault of his own, by the number of guests arriving at the same time.

Very nice room with high standard of furniture and fittings.
Lifts not working and no offer at reception to help elderly guest to get luggage from reception to room on 2/3 floor.

It was so noisy i really struggled to sleep. There was a party back and forth to their rooms with doors banging every few minutes. Was not good considering i had my best friends funeral the day after.

Lovely clean hotel with staff readily available to help. Not your regular budget hotel in terms of what you get for your money. It's similar in price to other budget hotels but you get more quality.
Only downside for me was I had to pay extra for parking because I didn't book directly with the hotel and parking could be a nightmare if there are functions happening in the hotel.

On arrival i was gestured by a member of staff towards a party that were setting up for an event on the assumption that i was with them. In my opinion i can only presume this is because of my colour. Staff should be more professional and approach each guest as an individual as i found this offensive.
My room was a few doors away from members of this party who carried on the party in there room until the early hours of the morning and i didnt get to sleep until 5am. The lift in the main reception was not working all weekend , this service is not acceptable for the money i paid

Desperately needs a infrastructure update. Main reception area small and smelly. Needs new plumbing
However, staff service was very good. Surprise that a Best Western property would not be kept up.
