It was lovely . Lobby area very nice , loved the many choices in the lobby store . Everything was so well arranged for the shopper. Our room was so nice , very clean , so large . Loved the bathroom . The pullout shelves are very convenient . First time I’ve been in a hotel that let you immediately turn lights on with your key card. Great The morning I checked out , I needed some more time. The guest service agent was very considerate and had no problem giving me a later check out. We will definitely return to this property and I signed up for Hilton rewards.

Karla at the front desk was awesome, friendly and professional! She did a fantastic job decorating the lobby, breakfast area, and entryway with over-the-top halloween decorations. It was really well done! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed themed decor. Our room was one of the nicest rooms we have had while staying in a hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the large walk-in shower was very nice. The breakfast was phenomenal too as there were so many options that even the pickiest eaters would find something to eat. From hard-boiled eggs, fresh waffles, and oatmeal to scrambled eggs, cold cereals, yogurt, and sweet breads, this breakfast had it all! Oh, and freshly brewed coffee too! We were so impressed with the facilities here we will be looking first to stay at Hampton Inn & Suites for future travel needs. This location was close enough to downtown Detroit (30 min to Little Caesars Arena) and quite a bit cheaper than staying right in Detroit. We would stay here again!

My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower. Otherwise, it is one of the better hotels in the area for the rice.
