"We were not happy with the hotel overall. The staff were friendly and accommodating but the beds and breakfast we had expected more of considering the price.
On the hotel's information page it says that breakfast costs 7 € but we were charged 11 € so just over 50% more expensive. The beds and pillows were not good, only one pillow and low quality beds. The prices at the hotel are about 40 - 50% more expensive than other comparable hotels. Overall, we unfortunately have to give a low rating...

"Amazing staff, very comfy room with aircon (great as it was v hot when we visited). Decent breakfast. However, the location of this hotel really is a distance away from the places you’re likely to want to go as a tourist, especially the schloss and old town. I walked in in the first evening and it took me 25 mins (admittedly I have short legs and it was hot!). The amazing staff were great at providing us with bus times, but there were only 2 per hour and it took 20 mins as went round the...

"Lovely hotel in a very quiet part of Schwerin, about 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Breakfast, although relatively expensive, was superb and well worth the money. Though not something I could manage every day.
They have a very nice selection of wine and it would have been nice to have a bar area to enjoy these without going into the restaurant. "

"The hotel is a good walkable location for accessing the town center and Schloss. Staff and check in were excellent. The rooms were spacious, modern, well decorated, and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The parking garage was inexpensive and there was plenty of spaces. That is the good. It was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32 centigrade. The room at check in was close to 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still close to 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow warm air. Front desk was not able to assist. We were forced to sleep in a hot room that never cooled over the course of the night. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature."
