Such a lovely inn! The room was beautiful with everything needed. I actually booked it because of the freestanding tub and big shower and they were exactly what I wanted. All the windows were lovely, but if the curtains weren’t closed, the room got hot even with the AC all the way up, but the ceiling fan helped pick up any slack once we realized this and closed them. Breakfast at Founders was wonderful and totally worth the walk or drive over (the weekend menu is extensive, weekday still offers a great traditional breakfast cooked to order).

This place was absolutely gorgeous. The room and the gardens were stunning. The neighborhood was really pretty. There was a claw foot tub in my room which I didn’t expect, with bath salts and a bath bomb. The decor was so nice and the room was spacious with lots of windows. There was a coffee maker and fridge in the room and beautiful robes. For breakfast I just grabbed the continental breakfast because I was in a hurry but their restaurant nearby sounded amazing. If I had more time I would have gone there for breakfast. Normal hotel stuff on the continental. Muffins, fruit, yogurt. The night before I walked to dinner. Lots of nice restaurants about a block away.

A Great Stay!
We had a great stay at this amazing property which is located perfectly! The breakfast at the Founders Restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed unwinding on the beautiful porch in the wonderful spring weather. I would give five stars, but the day of our check out we intended to have breakfast at the Summit property but there was no one to be found at the 8am-10am breakfast hour.

A Great Get Away
We had a comfortable get away at the Summit Street Inn. We were greeting warmly upon arrival, left alone while we there, but prompt response if we needed anything. It was located well, near good restaurants. Beautiful bathroom facilities, a back porch. It was quiet and I would gladly return.
