5 night stay in this hotel November 2024. Had 2 poolside rooms. Hotel and staff really good. Lots of parking. Good quality breakfast included. Loved having a room that opens directly into pool area. Lots of parking. Food store, Dollarama, Gas Station, Diner and Beer Vendor all on site and within a couple of minutes walk. On a bus route and busy intersection. Hotel is a bit tired, but also nice and clean. Pool is lovely. Good value for money. Would choose to stay here on next visit to Winnipeg.

The beds were very comfortable but, are set way to high to get onto. You can not sit to them cause they are at waist level high. I’m 5’2” I had the most difficult time getting into bed and then getting out was a nightmare. The beds are set way too high! The legs on the bed need to be lowered as box syringes are higher. Being so high I couldn’t feel the floor and to feel for the floor by siding off the bed which isn’t safe and I was right as I couldn’t reach the floor I slid out of bed and was down on the floor hitting my knees, my elbows and my head. Ended up with a goose egg on my head a swollen knee and an elbow so sore I had trouble using my arm. Went to emerge when I got home to get checked out as by this time my whole upper body was stiff and so sore that it was very uncomfortable for me move. And then there is the toilet. They are very low profile “kids” toilets were you are seeking with your hand to find it before you can sit feels like your going to fall and sit on the floor. I don’t have mobility issues but anyone who has this it would unsettling if you feel your going to fall to the floor cause the toilet is so low to the ground. Unless the bed issue of being so high are not addressed I will never use this hotel again sad as I love walking my dogs on the near by trails and park. Because of my injuries I’m on Tylenol and Advil. I get some relief but not enough to take all the pain away.

The staff here is great. We arrived after a very long drive. Nikki at the front desk greeted us with a smile, candy and treats for the kids. They were so delighted it took the jet lag right out of them! The room is clean and quiet too. Very happy we chose this place. Thank you Nikki!
